It’s an understatement to say this is the most popular dinner on the Dinner on the Table menu. But I understand. I eat it at every opportunity too.
This is a rustic, made-from-scratch pie: buttery slow cooked leeks, chunks of chicken breast in a delicious, creamy sauce. In order to keep the homemade pastry as fresh as possible this pie is made fresh and then frozen.
This pie cooks beautifully straight from the freezer. Put it directly into your moderately hot oven for around 60mins. Or you can defrost it in the fridge overnight and cook it in around 25-30mins. Either way, you end up with a delicious pie, just as if you had made it yourself.
This pie is extra special: $5 from every pie you purchase (and eat!) will go to Lifestart’s “Cook for Kids” fundraiser. Lifestart provides much needed support to children and young people with disability and their families.
So gather your friends and family around a delicious Chicken & Leek Pie dinner and help vulnerable families. If you’ve ever wanted to try Dinner on the Table, here’s a great opportunity to eat a delicious dinner and support vulnerable families.
