I know we might rail against the Americanisation of some corners of Australian society, but we should not necessarily rail against the Americanisation of our dinner tables. At least not always.
In some cases it is entirely necessary. Cheese, for instance, is produced by milk from a cow or goat, or other four-legged animal. It should neverĀ be produced by an aerosol can. Someone should explain that to the Americans.
This American inspired dinner, however, should be celebrated. And so celebrate we will. Chicken pieces, mildly spicy chorizo, vegetables, house made stock, slow cooked together. Not a spray can in sight.
Suitable for a low sodium version. Gluten free.
Ingredients: Chicken, vegetable stock (house made), chorizo, onion, capsicum, celery, garlic, paprika, thyme, bay leaves, parsley, chilli
Low sodium version contains no chorizo or salt
