Most often when we’re testing a new dinner I try them out on my family. These got tested at one of those extended-family birthday expos, where about half the guests are celebrating a coming of some age or other. I cooked a gargantuan quantity of chicken balls. They lasted about 85 seconds. Taste-test passed; so I’m cooking them for you.
Asian inspired chicken balls are baked, rather than fried, and brushed and sprinkled with hoisin and sesame (I’ll leave it to you to work out which is which). These you’ll receive in one package. In the second package you’ll receive a salad to go with them. Tucked into the salad bag you’ll find the dressing which you may sprinkle at whim.
In this dinner pack, we’re including a packet of rice noodles, which can be cooked in mere minutes. Warm the chicken balls in the microwave while you cook the noodles, and toss the whole lot together for a complete meal.
Ingredients: Balls: Chicken breast, chicken thigh, bread crumbs, egg, ginger, garlic, miso paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, hoisin sauce, salt, white pepper. Salad & Dressing: Cabbage, carrot, onion, mint, sugar, garlic, rice vinegar, lime juice, fish sauce, oil, pepper.
