There’s not much not to like about a homemade pizza in my opinion. First, there’s no cardboard aftertaste (ever noticed that with the one in the box??) Second, there’s no wiffy car (for days after said pizza has been collected and consumed): it makes no difference how short the trip from the takeaway joint to home.
This one comes from a trip to NZ: I madly took notes in a pizza restaurant we ate in. It starts with a homemade base with homemade tomato sauce and basil pesto. On top of that: broccoli, green beans, roasted sweet potato, mozzarella, feta and thinly sliced onion.
Vegetarian and seriously delicious, it is ready for 10-12 mins in your hot oven. Pizza you made yourself… only easier.
One size, feeds 1-2 adults.
Ingredients: Flour (wheat), tomato passata, broccoli, sweet potato, feta, semi-dried tomato, mozzarella, parmesan, red onion, basil, yeast, salt, olive oil, pinenuts, garlic, sugar, oregano
